Watercolor, FL is a wonderful, picturesque community with a spectacular beach and beach club. But it's not always all about the beach is it? We like Fish Out of Water for a meal with a view (really great breakfast), the wine store for, well, great wine and cheese, and the Watercolor garden for a lovely walk. A treat anytime of year, Watercolor is a really nice experience in October when the butterflies are active and the Mountain Film Festival is in town. Watercolor allows real estate openhouse on Thursday and Sunday. Check our 30A listings to have a look around at what your interested in and then call Bruce for an appointment. at 850-368-8326.
Seaside, FL. We love everything about Seaside. The homes, the dining, the family friendly events, the farmers market and the originality. Check out 30A listings. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis invented Seaside in the 1980's. It is one of the first "New Urban" communities and it's picturesque setting was used as the location for the movie "The Truman Show".
The shops and art galleries are wonderful and the town is made for pedestrians so get out of your car and take a walk.
One of our favorite things to do in Seaside is to go to Bud and Alleys for sunset. Go there-be happy.
Going east on 30A from Seaside will take you to Seagrove Beach, FL. Seagrove is one of South Walton's Old Florida beach villages. It straddles the east and the west side of Hwy 395. An older community it has some randomness to it with homes and condos tucked into the scrub oak and live oak groves. Many of the back roads are narrow and sandy and that just adds to its charm.

The restaurant V is a pretty groovy new addition to the neighborhood. It's part of a new, condo-hotel is being built next to the Village Market at the 3 way stop but it will take a lot to pull the Old Florida out of Seagrove Beach.
There are some amazing homes in Seagrove. Almost all of them are a pretty easy walk to the beach. It really depends on your taste and budget.
We like this beach house in Seagrove because it has great views without the beach front price.
Sit on your porch and be amazed. Walk down the boardwalk and watch the sun rise and set over the water as you take a dip in the clear waters. Nice.

From here, if you keep going east on 30A the next area you get to is Camp Creek and Watersound.
